Location:

McPherson Ks & Surrounding Communities

Collaborative Options:

  • Contracted In-Clinic - tagging onto prenatal & postpartum office visits - ensures a continuum of care that may otherwise be overlooked

  • Contracted In-Hospital - acute consultations/evaluation in the first 24-48 hours after delivery and prior to return home - ensures safety in mobility, proper body mechanics, pain management & physical healing

  • Traditional Referral - for physical therapy and wellness services in the patients home or a designated treatment space.

Benefits

The maternity provider-to-patient ratio in the United States is ~ 12/1,000 births, compared to

+40-70+/1,000 in similarly developed countries.

This disparity means you're shouldering a significantly greater share of patient care responsibilities than necessary.

Imagine how much the patient experience could improve by allowing you to focus primarily on medical care— while integrating physical therapy to effectively address musculoskeletal, pelvic health, & functional concerns throughout pregnancy & the postpartum period.

Practice Differentiation

Offering a comprehensive care model (OB + PT) will set you apart from other practices.

Collaboration with Reduced Overhead

Since Little Way PT would be independently contracted, you would NOT pay salary or benefits, but still gain value through a more well-rounded approach to patient care.

Enhanced Patient Care

PT can reduce pain, incontinence, core & pelvic floor concerns - leading to better recovery & patient satisfaction.

Team-based Model Appeal

Physicians are often overextended with medical management that partnering with a PT could allow for offloading of non-medical aspects of patient care to a specialized clinician.

Increased Patient Retention

Patients are more likely to return for postpartum care or future pregnancies if they experience care that is of greater quality & convenience to them.

Improved Patient Outcomes

May reduce c-section rates, improve patient readiness for birth or any changes to their anticipated type of birth experience. Overall providing much needed support earlier in their postpartum recovery.
